Bobby, Chris and Tommy, I am so sorry for the passing of Tammy. As you know she was a very special person. It was a privilege getting to know Tammy and I considered her a good friend. Whether it was sitting around camp or walking along placing flags on Veterans day, I loved chatting with Tammy. We talked about many topics but her favorite topic was always her family. She loved you all so very much. Please remember my family is right around the corner, let us know if there is anything we can do. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I am going to miss you my dear friend. That phone call when its freezing out at work and you say hey, I'm going on a break, come out so I have someone to talk too. All your camping stories and the fun you have with Christopher and Tommy, the funny things they say and do that make you laugh. I'm missing it already. You were a good friend Tammy and I will miss talking with you and always remember you.

To the Copeland family-Breyanna and I were very saddened to hear about Tammy. Breyanna just said that she doesn't know what she would have done with out Miss Tammy this past summer. She would save the day by finding her tiny dolls and every thing else she would lose at the pool in the craziest of places. No matter how small the item, Tammy always managed to find it in a matter of minutes and save Brey from an impending meltdown. Every conversation her and I shared centered around her boys. I would always compliment her on how wonderful I thought you both were, especially to Brey who was so much younger. Most older kids would brush off a younger kid as a pain, but Tommy and Chris. You both would always include her and even take time out to play catch with her just so she didn't feel left out.
Boys, I know that she loved you both so very much. She would talk about you and her eyes would light up with pride at what good boys you are and what wonderful men you were turning out to be.
I know in times like these, there are no words that can console the grief you are experiencing but we wanted you all to know that you are being thought about and how deeply sorry we are to hear of such a tragic loss.
You all are in our thoughts and especially in our prayers.

March 3, 2013

Bob, Christopher and Tommy, I am saddened by your loss of Tammy. She lit up a room when she walked in. Tammy was one that would jump in with both feet to get a job done, be it for Scouts, Pool, Work or for a friend that needed help. God needed a workerbee, so he called Tammy. Bob, Chris and Tommy, may your fondest memories of Tammy be a comfort to you.
Rest in peace Tammy.

Dear Aunt Maryann,Rustina and Tammy's family.
"When someone we love dies, it seems as if time stands still. And silence... a quiet sadness... often can be felt, not just heard, a longing for one more day... one more word... one more touch... And we may not understand why God chose to have her leave this earth so soon, or why she had to leave before we were ready to say goodbye, but little by little, we will begin to remember not just that she died, but that she lived. And that her life gave us memories too beautiful to forget. We will see her again someday, in a heavenly place where there is no parting. A place where there are no words that mean goodbye."

I read-Cousins are usually the first friends we have as children, no one will ever understand our crazy family like cousins do, even if we haven't talked much lately.
This statement is true, Tammy we grew up together, you, me, Tiny and Amy. We laughed, we cried, we fought, but we always loved!!!
Always in my heart.
I love you and miss you.

My sister was a wonderful person. she was a great mom to Tommy and Christopher. they were her life she loved everything and everyone with the scouts. she told me so may stories about the kids and the leaders. she loved being there for the kids. she would tell me all the fun and jokes that they did to each other will camping. she put so much effect and love into everything she did.. helping the homeless helping out with pool. being a wonder nurse at work and home. ive been sick and haven't been able to spend a lot of time with her lately. and it breaks my heart. my heart is broken. I don't have to tell tommy and Christopher how much she loved them they know she was there for them everyday. they had a great relationship with each other.. just hold your mom in your heart. like im trying to do. I love her so much and miss her with all my heart..

Tammy- your loving heart and bright smile always made the day for not only me but all 4 of my children. I cant believe you are gone I guess the big man needed a scout leader. I know you are well and our hearts are heavy, but you would not want that. Ill try to smile for you just as you helped me smile last year when I was grieving. The heartfelt sympathy and deepest prayers go out to not only your family but to 873, they didnt just loose a leader they lost a "mom"

Bob, Tommy, Chris...You are in my thoughts and prayers. There are no words adequate enough to express how devastated I feel for your family. Tammy was a great person and God must have really needed her in Heaven! I will miss Tammy more than words can say. She was a friend, a mentor, a colleague, and like a sister to me. She was truly an inspiration. She made the room a brighter place simply by being in it...she was always laughing! There was nothing she couldn't do and was always there to lend a helping hand to those in need. She was truly loved and will truly be missed. May God be with you all and again, I am praying for you.
