Timothy Hillman Obituary
Friends may call at the family owned Mitchell-Wiedefeld Funeral Home, Inc., 6500 York Road (at Overbrook Rd), Baltimore, MD, 21212, on Thursday from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be offered in St. Mark's Catholic Church, 30 Melvin Avenue, Catonsville, MD, 21228, on Friday, August 10 at 10 AM. Interment private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the LTRC Soccer Program, 121 East Ridgely Road, Lutherville, MD, 21093. Expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.mwfuneralhome.com/obituaries.

Tim: The impression you left on me and those around me is immeasurable. You spoke with tact, and lead by example. To me, you remain. I still feel your reassuring presence walking through the doors of TWS. You will be dearly missed.

It has been a year since Tim past and I think of Tim every day. I remind myself to "BE LIKE TIM HILLMAN". He was my friend, my co-worker, and I looked to him as a father. He was such a great man and will be missed by so many.

Not a day has gone by without Tim on our minds and in our hearts at The Wine Source. Work days are challenging, problems unsolveable, mistakes that need fixing...some days we just NEED Tim - these are big hiking boots to fill. But when our hearts are heavy, that's usually about the time Judy walks through the door to report for duty - cowgirl boots clicking, her deep laugh and wide smile have been our saving grace, our strength. Judy reminds us that Tim is never far and that he continues to delight in our accomplishments; new homes, new unions, newborns. Our lives go forward but not without Tim watching over us and guiding us, sometimes we realize it, sometimes we don't. We can feel that he is proud of us and we work to make him proud, both at work and in life. We miss you Tim, we love you.

Judy, I just heard of Tim's passing yesterday from Emily White. I am so, so sorry for your loss.I worked with Tim several years ago when I called on him at the Rotunda for F.P. Winner. It was always the highlight of my day to see him and share a few chuckles/stories. He always spoke so highlty of you and your son. I will be thinking of you in the months to come. What a tremendous person, I had the pleasure to get to know Tim, selling him libation of sorts. Patient and kind, I always felt welcome and he always made time for me. He will be deeply missed. My prayers are with his immediate family and his Wine Source family.

As a computer person I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Tim at The Wine Source for many years. Whle the computers may have been cranky from time to time, Tim was always great to work with and was a gentleman in every repect. He will be missed.

Judy, I wanted you to know how much Tim meant to my son Philip, he had such a wonderful impact on his life. Philip respected him so and learned from him every day at work. Tim had such a positive affect on everyone he worked with and his influence on the store can't be overstated. More importantly, his leadership, calm, hard work, and sense of humor have left a permanent, affirmative impression on all his coworkers that gets carried beyond the store. We are so deeply saddened by the loss of our great mentor at The Wine Source. Tim was our rock, a steady and dependable father figure and no doubt the heart of our work community. We will miss his subtle humor, his many character voices and hilarious impressions, his unfailing dedication to turtlenecks, his delight in our accomplishments, excitement to see our staff's visiting children and of course doggies, his passion for craft beer and spirits; and most of all I will miss Tim's furtive glance that caught my eye as I passed by the office door a million times. Carol,my deepest sympathies on the loss of your brother, Timmy. You never "get over" losing a brother, but the pain will get "less raw" as time passes. Keep "Timmy" close in spirit by sharing memories, talk about him often. Trust that you now have a guardian angel looking over you. He will "visit" you in unexpected ways.
