Byron Juan "Pete" BADEN Notice
BADEN , Byron Juan "Pete" Byron Juan "Pete" Baden , age 82, passed away on October 2, 2012. He was a lifelong resident of Severn. Pete was the beloved husband of Nancy Krebs-Baden, dear father of Robert Irons,
Timothy, Paul and Philip Baden and Sandra Ader. He was also the loving grandfather of 6 grandchildren. Pete served his country in the US Army from 1951-1954. He was a Corporal in Ordnance as well as in Special Services with musical productions. He was a self employed Master Mechanic of Auto Fix in Glen Burnie, and also worked as a Service Training Manager at Mid Atlantic Toyota, Instructor in Deisel and Automotive Mechanics at the Center of Applied Technology North in AACO where he retired in 1992. Pete also worked for Sun Electric as a Sales Representative. He belonged to the Hudson Car Club, the American Legion - Quarterfield, VFW - Dorsey Road and NRA Benefactor Life Member. Pete enjoyed showing cars, especially his Hudson Hornet which won 1st prize many times. He also loved racing cars. His passion was being a musician of Country music and played with the same band for 50 years. He played the pedal steel guitar, six string and bass and also was the business manager and producer of his wife, Nancy's music ministry.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 4 from 3-5 & 7-9 PM at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S. in Glen Burnie. Services will be held on Saturday, Oct 6 at 2 PM at the Shrine of St. Anthony on Folly Quarter Rd. in Ellicott City.
