Ms. Teeny & Mr. Carl, I just found out about Thunders passing this week, I could not believe it. I saw Thunder about a year or so ago, we talked for quite a while and it was so good to see him. I have so many fond memories of him, he was always so much fun to be around. I know you must miss him so much, but I know that he's looking down from heaven on his familywith his bright smile. Please know that my prayers & thoughts are with you.

Coach Thunder was more than just a coach to the kids that played 11-13 Arbutus, he was thier mentor he showed them the ins and outs of the game and was always joking around. He was constantly motivating them to push themselves and give 110%. Thunder will always be on the sidelines of the kids he coached watching over them. My thoughts are with you and your family during this time. May thoughts of his wonderful spirit live on and ease the pain during this time.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to the entire Linton family. Thunder played an important role in our son's life as a coach and mentor. He will not be forgotten. Not only did he "coach" football, but he helped instill, support and reaffirm many important values that our son was taught both on the field and off the field. We know that Thunder will always be with our son in his thoughts and prayers. While Thunder himself has left us physically he lives on through everyone he touched in his lifetime. We do not think there are many of the children he coached that can not say that Thunder made a true differnce in their lives. The saying "You can not measure ones life by the number of breaths that they have taken, but instead one's life is measured by the breaths that they take away" is a true example of how Thunder lead his life. Thunder took many of our breaths away. He was devoted to not only his real life family but also to his football family. Thunder, we know that with each play my son makes, your memory will shine. Thunder will always be deeply missed and never forgotten, but the memory of Thunder will always bring many wonderful memories and times to our hearts and minds. May God Bless your family during this very difficult time and help your family's healing in the days to come.

Teeny, Carl, Mary and children.
We are so very sorry for your loss. Please always know we are there for you. I found this last night when I came home and thought it was perfect.
God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered "Come to Me". with tearfull eyes we watched you and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us HE ONLY TAKES THE BEST.
Love Aunt Rose and Uncle Bob
