Christian P. Addicks

ADDICKS , Christian P. Christian Paul Addicks , age 82, died Friday May 8, 2009 at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin. He was born April 14, 1927 to the late Christian and Mary Ann Addicks. He is survived by his wife Cecilia Addicks; a daughter Diane Heim and her husband Timothy; son Paul Addicks and wife Denise; grandchildren Erich and Evan Heim and brothers Franklin and Earl Addicks as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother Edward Addicks, a sister Betty Russell and grandson Adam Christian Heim. He was a retired firefighter and a Navy veteran. He was a member of the American Legion, VFW, Delmarva Irish American Club and Nick's Mug club, #27. He enjoyed crabbing and cooking and especially loved spending time with his grandsons.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 16, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church in Ocean City. In Lieu of flowers, donations are accepted to Believe in Tomorrow Children's House by the Sea, 13 66st Ocean City, MD 21842. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin.
