Born to Frank & Mary O'Toole in 1928, Frank O'Toole Sr. passed from this life on July 13, 2016. He rose from humble surroundings in Newark, New Jersey and graduated high school in 1946. Frank served his country as a United States Marine from 1946 to 1949 where he received an honorable discharge as Corporal. Frank attended Cheshire Academy in Connecticut on a full football scholarship. He attended Colgate University, where he was awarded a Fulbright scholarship. He was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, played fullback on the football team, and graduated in three years in 1953 with Summa Cum Laude honors. Frank then participated in Colgate University's US Air Force ROTC program and received commission of 2nd Lieutenant upon graduation. He was honorably discharged from the US Air Force Reserves as a 1st Lieutenant in January 1961. Frank worked for Remington Rand from 1953 to 1973 where he advanced to Director of Marketing for the Remington Systems Division. In 1973, he moved back to Maryland and founded F.A. O'Toole Office Systems providing a comfortable livelihood for his family that continues today. Frank enjoyed deep sea fishing on his boat, golfing at Hillendale Country Club and Hunt valley Country Club, traveling and racing his small stable of thoroughbred horses. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Dorothy, his three children Cathleen (Wiederseim, husband Tom), Daniel (wife Julie) and Frank Jr. (wife Mary Ellen), his 6 grandchildren, Tace, Conor, Kevin, Ella, Bridget, Frank (Tony) and his great grandson, Liam.
