Suddenly on May 20, 2015, "Gregg" of Ellicott City, beloved husband of Sandra E. (nee Cheatwood); devoted father of Curtis James; loving step-father of Amanda Wooten (nee Trout); devoted brother of Courtney Jarvis (Eric), Geoff Gilliece (Robin), and Whitney Green (Michael); cherished uncle and step-grandfather. Gregg was born on January 1st - the "First Baby of the New Year" in 1966, the son of Marilyn and the late Owen J. Gilliece, Jr. Family and friends will honor Gregg's life at HARRY H. WITZKE'S FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, INC., 4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City on Wednesday, 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10am on Thursday at Church of the Resurrection in Ellicott City. Interment Crest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Gregg. Checks should be made out to the American Cancer Society and mailed to Sherri Kidwiler at 51 Barbary Ct., Charles Town, WV 25414 - a charity dear to Gregg's heart, as his maternal grandmother succumbed to the disease and his sister-in-law is a survivor.
