John C. Thompson, Gypsy, died Oct. 4, comforted by Nichola Thompson, wife, and Simone Thompson, daughter. Born at Ft. Bragg, N.C., he moved at age 8, after the death of his mother, to live with Mildred Hild, aunt, in Shively, KY. Graduating Butler HS, he enlisted, Army Special Forces, serving in Vietnam, two tours. A Journeyman carpenter, he worked with pride: Chesapeake Bay Bridge 2nd span and years at the Washington National Cathedral, during completion of the West fa�ade: Rose window, towers, and F.Hart's The Creation. With his 1948 flathead Harley, he joined Fate's Assembly motorcycle club, serving as VP. Bartending ,The Cat's Eye Pub, Fells Point in Baltimore, then Club Lust on Baltimore's Block, he was respected by all. Memorial : 12/19/15,noon St. Ignatius Church 740 N. Calvert St. Baltimore.
