Kristina QUIGLEY Obituary
Relatives and friends are invited to visit the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace Ave. on Wednesday and Thursday 3-5,7-9pm. A funeral mass will held at the Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church on Friday, 10:30am. Interment at Sacred Heart of Jesus Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made Gavin's scholarship fund at : gofundme.com/2bt9g4.

As the mother of a D3 lacrosse player and aunt of an asst women's lax coach this accident struck a serious chord! My husband drives past Seton Hill every day. We want to offer you all our deepest sympathy and love. Although we've never met you in person, we were overwhelmed with deep sadness when we heard of this terrible, terrible loss that you must bear of a beautiful woman, accomplished way beyond her years and of your dear unborn son. Somehow, may the wonderful bond of love you shared with her and with faith in God help to comfort you. We have 2 daughters, 2 sons-in-law and 4 grandchildren. One of our daughters and her husband were total athletes and met at Bates College up here, also a private college. Now they have coached 7 years with their daughters, just 13 and 16 in basketball and Softball...we know the commitment and dedication that it takes and your Kristina certainly had it all. We are so sorry.

To Kristie's husband, son Gavin, parents, brothers, and friends: Kristie sounds like a wonderful person--very loving, and very much loved. If there is any consolation for you during this time, could it be that if the situation was reversed, she would feel what you are feeling. I hope it can be some comfort that she was spared the pain of losing you. May we all live the way she did and may you feel her presence always.

Kristie was a lovely, motivated, kind-hearted, intelligent, joy-filled young lady. I feel blessed to have known her when she was one of my "kids" at Dundalk H.S - that amazing class of 2001. I will never forget her enthusiasm and those sparkling eyes. Blessings and love to her beautiful family.

So very sorry for your loss. I didnt know her i just live in the town such tragedy happened. When I heard the breaking news on our news station my heart dropped. I couldn't even begin to imagine. Kristie was a wonderful woman. As long as I have known her (Middle school) I can't remember a time that she wasn't smiling. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
