Notice Condolences

CUSSON , Lionel Lionel Cusson died in his sleep on Sunday, February 3; he was 95 and a wonderful man. He was a decorated World War II aviator (Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal), flying 49 missions as a navigator over Germany with the Eighth Air Force. He then became an air traffic controller in Baltimore. He retired from Government service in 1984. He is survived by his son, John, and daughter-in-law, Regina, grandsons, Jonathan and Benjamin, and great-grandsons, Gavin and Raymond John.
A funeral mass will be held at 9:30 in Baltimore on February 15 at St. William of York Church, followed by internment next to his wife, Helen, in Garrison Forest Veteran's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lionel John and Helen Kinniery Cusson Scholarship fund at the UCONN School of Nursing.
