Peter Parker Notice


Peter Parker, born March 31, 1931, passed away January 16, 2016, from a long illness. A life-long Baltimorean, he led a rich and varied life. He graduated Friends School in 1949 to attend Yale University where he played varsity goalie on both the soccer & lacrosse teams. Between college and Harvard Law School, he served in the U.S. Navy as a Lt.Commander in the Korean War. Peter moved back to Baltimore after law school to join the firm of Semmes, Bowen & Semmes. He formed his own law firm, White, Page & Lentz, in 1967 and became a prominent Baltimore litigator. Among his many clients were a number of the old Baltimore Colts including John Unitas. He believed deeply in public service, holding several public positions, including Supervisor of Elections, Baltimore City, and Peoples' Counsel for the State of Maryland. He is survived by his four children - Beth, Peter Jr., Todd and George - and ten grandchildren. His wife of 50 years, Gail Munson Parker, predeceased him in 2004.
