Robert Lee Taylor, 83, of Lutherville, MD, passed away on June 13, 2016, at Holly Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation in Towson. Beloved son of the late Jesse E. and Anna (née Schenning) Taylor, he is survived by his loving companion Charlotte R. Anderson of Lutherville; daughters Rosemary A. Taylor of West Hurley, NY; Roxanne L. Bordenski of Abingdon, MD; and Mary Christy Dalgleish of Baltimore; grandchildren Ryan J. Bordenski, Halle S. Dalgleish, and Abel R. Dalgleish; brother Frank S. Taylor of Anaheim, CA; and five nieces. Bob was born in Baltimore on February 27, 1933. He attended Maryland's Charlotte Hall School Military Academy. A veteran of the Korean War, Bob served with the U.S. Marine Corps as an amphibian truck crewman; Corporal Taylor was honorably discharged in 1954. He began his civilian career as a master plumber and retired from Northeastern Supply. Graveside service and interment will be held at noon on Friday, July 8, 2016, at Meadowridge Memorial Park, 7520 Washington Boulevard, Elkridge, MD. A celebration of Bob's life will follow on Friday evening, from 4:00-7:00 PM, at 114 Westbury Road in Lutherville. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Bob's memory may be made to Holly Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation, 531 Stevenson Lane, Towson, MD 21286.
