I choose to remember the Dan who had a great tenor voice, unending trivial information to share, and above all was there for his family that he loved so much. I am thankful to have known him.
Condolences to all of you.

Dan was more than just a co-worker at IWIF, he was a dear friend. He geniunely cared about people and was the true meaning of a gentleman. He always made the effort to keep in touch and I am so glad that he did!
His stories of his dogs were very entertaining and his Facebook entries were always amusing.
I hope that the many great memories help everyone find comfort that Dan lived a full life and made a difference in the lives of so many.
My sincerest condolences to his family.

Danny and myself, along with Janet Davis, were close friends and playmates, especially during our elementary years at Peyton School. I have fond memories of us looking at stars through his telescope, playing with his Lionel trainset in the basement, and being in Scouting together. Danny and his family introduced me to purebred dogs and dog showing. My deepest sympathy to Kathie, Cliff, and Tim.,

Kathie and family, I am so sorry for your loss. How wonderful it was to see you two at our last reunion and smile at our long time friendship. A card sent to me at a time of loss had this note: "There is an Eskimo legend that the stars are merely holes in the sky where our lost loved ones look down to let us know they are okay." II find it hard not to smile when looking up on a starlit night...just in case. Warm thoughts of friendship. Laquita Wooddell

I had the pleasure of working with Dan while he was at IWIF and he always had the time for conferencing cases or just a general conversation which I thoroughly enjoyed. He was a man of integrity and always a gentleman. He never forgot sending me a card for all the Jewish holidays even after he left IWIF. I will miss those cards, but more than that I will miss his humor, integrity, the bow ties and his quick wit. More than anything I will miss him. Stan Rogosin

In my years as a WC claimant settlement negotiator, I settled many cases with Dan. He always made me laugh, and with his insight and soft wit, achieved his goal of getting me to "rethink that demand". A man of the law with a true understanding of human nature and psychology, he was a gift. He and his family are in my thoughts and prayers during this time of grief. It is my hope that time allows you to remember the happy and recall him with the smile and chuckle he would always give you. God bless.

I worked with Dan for 5 years back when I was a much younger lawyer. Dan took me under his wing and I learned much law under his tutelage but even more about how to conduct myself both as a professional and as a person. I carry those lessons to this day. He was shockingly funny as well, and always ready with a pithy quote either from the bible or from baseball. He was a kind and gentle sprit with a deep love of sports, particularly baseball. I will miss him greatly.
