On, May 21, 2014, MARY JANE (KLOHR) WINKELMEYER, her husband Walter Winkelmeyer died August 30, 2003, she is survived by her loving children Wink, Jr., Betty Wells (Wilbur), many grandchildren, a total of 5 generations. As a pioneer business woman, with her husband Wink they opened Winkelmeyer's Feed and Coal Yard in 1949 with the Railway Express (Hardware store). She was a Rosie The Riveter, a community leader acquiring the Health Center, organizing the Polio Salk Vaccine Program, President of Soroptimist of AACO, donating to many organizations such as the Earleigh Hgts. Fire Dept. Served on various State and County Boards, setting up the AA County Police Community Relations, receiving numerous awards and citations. May the Lord say a "job well done my servant Mary Jane." She made history, lived history, and was history. Family and friends may visit on Monday, May 26 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Barranco & Sons, P.A Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy in Severna Park. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 27 at 10:30 am in the funeral home. Interment will be at Glen Haven Memorial Park in Glen Burnie. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church, Severna Park Community Center, ASPIRE Severna Park's Enhancement Org.; all of Severna Park, MD.
