Robert Frazier Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 29, 2017.

Robert "Bobby" Lewis Frazier, Jr. passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 25, 2017. He was 63. He was born on November 8, 1953 to the late Robert Lewis Frazier and Evelyn Huston Isabelle. He was proudly born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, where he graduated from Forest Park High School. Bobby received his Bachelor of Science degree and completed the course work for his Executive Master's at the University of Maryland, College Park. Bobby worked briefly at the Social Security Administration in Baltimore, but spent the majority of his career working for Honeywell, beginning at Goddard in Greenbelt, Maryland. He retired after 29 years of service as the Director of Customer Service for the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. During Bobby's career, he lived in Maryland and California, and overseas in Australia and Saudi Arabia. Bobby loved traveling, singing, playing cards, entertaining, cooking, bowling, and playing golf and softball. He was never late; for him, on time was 30 minutes early. He took pride in his appearance and preferred a collared shirt and suit over any t-shirt. Most of all, Bobby loved his family and friends. He just wanted to see every happy and having a good time. Bobby is survived by devoted family members Lorraine Frazier and Barbara Frazier; his loving children Evelyn Lewis and her husband Benjamin, Thomas Walker, and son-in-law Timothy Blount; cherished grand-children Amanda Lewis, Benjamin Lewis, Jr., and Raven Blount; siblings Francine Massdin and Michael Frazier; Uncle Stephen Foster; cousins Debra Phillips and Karen Huston; and other caring family and friends. Waiting for him in glory are his children Robert Lewis Frazier, III and Stephanie Blount; grandson Robert William Lewis; and parents Robert and Evelyn and her husband Roland Isabelle. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 4-5 pm at Donaldson Funeral Home, P.A., located at 313 Talbott Avenue, Laurel, Maryland 20707, where a memorial service will begin at 5 pm. To the Frazier family,

My deepest condolences to the family.

The best I can say, if I had a chance to speak with him before he left, I would say the following:

My (young(he was only two years older than me)) older Brother,

I cherish the memories of you, Nicky and Joey growing up. Clearly, you brothers were great mentors to me and Bostic, Clinton, Ronny and Roy. Go in Peace and God be with you.

Sincerely,

Rick Silva (& The young crew)
