Notice Condolences

SILBER M.D. , Bernard Bernard Silber M.D., oldest son of Isaac and Dora Rodbell Silber, founders of Silber's Bakery, died , at age 98, on March 20 in Palo Alto, Ca. He was a graduate of Baltimore City College '28, U. of Maryland '32, and the U. of Chicago School of Medicine 1936. Dr. Silber practiced Internal Medicine in Redwood City, Ca for 40 years, was esteemed by his colleagues, and beloved by his patients. He is survived by his children Jenny Silber Butah, Katy Silber, Marc Silber, and eleven grandchildren all of N. California; also, brothers Sidney Silber of Lutherville, Dr. Earle Silber of Chevy Chase, and sister Evelyn Silber Krohn of Baltimore; twelve nieces and nephews, and many Rodbell and Silber cousins. Predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Bernice Garrett Silber; brothers Meyer Silber and Sam L. Silber and sisters Libbye Sneider and Sen. Rosalie S. Abrams.
