WOLF , Dr. Sidney Dr. Sidney 'Sid' Wolf, 78, passed from this earth on January 10th in Longmont, CO. Sid was born December 30, 1934 in Baltimore to Morris and Anna Wolf. He received his Ph.D. from Catholic University, his Master's from American University and his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Baltimore. He was recognized internationally as an author, researcher, spiritual counselor, educator, body worker, and healer. He began his career taking part in landmark studies of the therapeutic benefits of LSD used in conjunction with psychotherapy, treating alcoholics, psychiatric patients and the terminally ill. He served as the director of the Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse for the Baltimore County Department of Health. Sid later moved west, where he directed the Psychotherapy Institute of San Diego. He later moved to Colorado, where he worked as an intuitive healer. Sid was most happy outdoors where he could engage in moving meditation, bird watching and kayaking. For those whose lives he touched with his wisdom, sense of humor, generosity, healing and love, his loving energy and light will always be with us. Sid is survived by his wife, Amber. He was preceded in death by his parents Morris and Anna Wolf, his sisters Rebecca "Betty" Margolis and Rosalie "Rose" Kaye, and his brothers Ben Wolf, Edward Wolf and Samuel Wolf. He is survived by his sister Frances Wais of Baltimore. He is also survived by son Ken and grandchildren Enzo and Tucker; son Craig and wife Sally and grandchildren Hannah and Zachary; son Cameron and partner Dale; son Scott and wife Wendy; daughter Heather; and son Orion.
