Clarence Miles Obituary



On 14 November 2013, Clarence "Allen" Miles, Jr., 78, of Severna Park, MD (formerly of Salisbury, MD) passed away at University of Maryland Medical Center. Allen was a Yale graduate, First Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps, harness horse trainer and driver and retired as an Administrator for the Department of State Planning in Baltimore, MD. He enjoyed sports, especially the University of Maryland Terrapins basketball team, the Ravens, and enjoyed playing and watching golf. He had been a member of the Crofton Country Club for many years. Allen is survived by his beloved partner, Nancy Davies; daughters Deborah Finkbeiner (John), Andrea Garrett (Chris); his son C. Allen Miles (Joann); grandsons Ryan Finkbeiner (Carly), Kyle Finkbeiner; and great granddaughter Lilly Finkbeiner. Allen donated his body to the Maryland Anatomy Board. A celebration of his life is planned for a future date.
