I am so sad to hear of the passing of Ken. I was setting up an arrangement to take some friends to a show at his place when I read the message of his passing. I met Ken while teaching at the Eager Street Academy, a public high school at the Baltimore City Detention Center (BCDC). He came in seldom for shows organized by our principal. I respected his arts and occasionally went over to the bar to trail some friends visiting from out of states. It's been a while now since I last did this. My heart goes out to Spencer and the rest of his family. I am sure you missed him. May his soul rest in perfect peace.

I am so sad. I just went to do a search for Ken Horsman and found this out today in 2018. I'm in Utah now so I missed out on the news. I loved coming to his store on Charles Street. They always made me feel at home and part of the family. I was so proud when I saw them on AGT. I have no words at the moment to express my sadness.

My sincerest condolences to Spencer and Marissa Horseman and the family for their loss. I have known Ken Horseman for over 9 years and can say that every time I think of him, I can't help but smile. You were a wonderful man and I still can't believe that you are gone. I still think that if I come to Illusions, I will see you there and you'll be cracking jokes. What a nice guy, my husband knew you and your family back in the 1970's while selling real estate in south Baltimore. You loved magic and trained some toy fox terriers for the circus. R.I.P

My deepest sympathy to Spencer and the Horsman Family. I met Ken in the early 90's when I worked on Light St and would stop in Ken-zo's to see a magic trick or two and buy one to try impress my family. In 1998 I returned to Federal Hill to work at Shofer's and every time I saw Ken he was always cheerful and smiling. It was great watching Illusions open and seeing how Spencer's career was taking off. Ken was so proud of his son. He will be truly missed in the Federal Hill community.

We've only met a few times at Illusions but a friend of mine talked to you for awhile after one of the shows and connected. Last time we saw you in the fall you were so excited to be bringing home your wife. Glad you got to have that at the end. You were such a kind and friendly person and amazing entertainer, traits you've passed onto your son. Rest easy and know your legacy continues through all the lives you've touched.
