Robin Hauck Obituary



Robin Lynn Hauck passed away at age 56 on 5/15/2017 in Baltimore where she was a life-long resident.She was born on 3/31/1961 in Baltimore. She is survived by her mother, Gloria Wolfsheimer; daughter Candice; grandchildren Joel, Angelina and Marcus; sisters Kim Briggs, Susan Weaver and Laura Turner; nieces Jennifer Wagner and Ashley, Lauren and Heather Connelly; nephews Shaun Green and Justin Briggs; grandnieces and nephews, Kaidence, Mark, Ethan, Raylynn, Deserae and Keonna. Robin lost her sight at age 20, following which she learned to function independently as a blind person, travelling across town as she pursued her education, resulting in a Bachelor's degree and a Master's degree in social work. She was a person of great intellectual energy. She was also passionate in her, essentially, life-long pursuit of a philosophy of Existence that explains this life, the present moment, and answers the question, "Who am I, and what is this existence all about, really?" A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. on May 25 at the Harewood Park Community Center in Chase, Md.
