Regina M. Violette

VAN BUREN - Regina M. Violette, 93, died Oct. 15, 2011, at a Caribou hospital. She was born Sept. 7, 1918, in Van Buren, daughter of Damase and Edwidge (Ouellette) Bouchard. She was employed as the central supply supervisor at Van Buren Community Hospital for many years. Regina is survived by one son, Leo James Violette and wife, Dorothy, of Van Buren; one daughter, Shelda Rossignol and husband, Eldon, of Long Lake; one brother, Lawrence Bouchard and his wife, Louise, of Van Buren; three sisters, Therese Dumond and husband, Chanel, of Darien, Conn., Laurette Gendreau of East Hartford, Conn., and Marcella Madore and husband, Eugene, of Coventry, Conn.; one grandson, Richard Rossignol and special friend, Wendy; and one great-grandson, Nicholas Rossignol. She was predeceased by her husband, Jean D. Violette; and by a granddaughter, Sherry Violette. Family and friends may gather 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Bruno-St. Remi Church, where a funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday.
