Mr. Edward Schulte, late of Fort Assiniboine, AB was finally freed of pain on May 19, 2016. After 28 months of a hard struggle with cancer, he passed away with his loving family by his side. Survived by his wife and best friend of 52 years, Linda; 2 daughters and
son-in-laws, Jeanette (Ivan) Williams of Ft. Assiniboine and Annette (Steve) May of Spruce Grove, 4 grandchildren, Jenna (Kevin) Hillmer, Jamie Williams, Shauna (Scott) Pendrak and Krista Fleming, 5 great grandchildren, Kaylea, Ashlyn, Kort & Caid Hillmer and Brynlee Pendrak, 4 sisters, Viola Brong, Ruth Bredo, Dolly Gieck and Joyce Hennig. Ed is predeceased by a daughter in infancy Angela Schulte, parents Herman and Viola Schulte, 3 brothers, Wilfred, Ralph and Leo Schulte, 1 sister Mary Ernst. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Barrhead. Luncheon and video presentation to follow in Catholic Church Hall immediately following the service. Private family burial at the Hillcrest Cemetery at Ft. Assiniboine.
