Thomas Anthony "Tony" Spears, age 55, of Maysville died Monday, November 19, 2012.

Mr. Spears was born in Gadsden, Al, a son to Ralph Thomas Spears and Mildred DeLois Smith Spears of Maysville. He was a welder. His brother, Ted Andrew Spears and grandson, Nicholas Anthony Spears, preceded him in death.

Survivors include: wife, Linda Spears of Maysville; children, Angela Jarrard of Jefferson, Anthony John Thomas Spears of Maysville, Jonathon Ian Thomas of Watkinsville, Michael Phillips of Jefferson; parents, Ralph and Mildred Spears of Maysville; sisters, Sherry Conwell of Commerce, Shelley Bunn of Lula, Becky Spears of Homer; 11 grandchildren; and many adopted children and grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 24 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 24 from 1-3 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service.
