Anderson, Herman - Auburn  
Mr. Herman W. Anderson, age 93, of Auburn, died Thursday, February 26, 2015. A native of West Virginia he was a son of the late Fred and Edna Hunt Anderson. He was preceded by his wife, Olive Smith Anderson and a son, Robert Anderson. Mr. Anderson was a U. S. Navy Veteran of World War II and was a retiree of Quaker Oats where he served as a research engineer. He was a member of New Hope Road Church of Christ in Dacula. Surviving are: children, William Ray (Janice) Anderson of Mulberry, Florida, Ellen June Anderson Mills of Auburn, Nancy A. (Thomas) Hair of Winnabow, North Carolina; daughter-in-law, Janet Lynn Anderson of Dahlonega; 10 grandchildren; 16 great Grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 28 from the chapel of Carter Funeral Home with Minister Ken Young officiating. The family will receive friends 5 – 8 p.m. Friday, February 27 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. Flowers are welcomed, or memorials may be made to New Hope Road Church of Christ, P. O. Box 1334, Dacula, Georgia 30019, or The Auburn Lions Club, P. O. Box 1115, Auburn, Georgia 30011. Archer, Eddie - Jefferson  
Mr. Eddie Lee Archer, age 58, of Jefferson, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2015. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 24 in the chapel of Evans Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Redstone United Methodist Church Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Monday, February 23 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Evans Funeral Home. Evans Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
