Anne Zingaro

Anne Gertrude Dunphy Zingaro, 93, passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013.

She was born in Carbonear, Newfoundland to Thomas (Skipper) and Judith (Mud) Dunphy. Mrs. Zingaro was a resident of Jacksonville for more than 50 years. She was a homemaker, mother of seven and a faithful member of St. Matthews Catholic Church. For the past seven years, she has been living with her daughter Patty in Georgia where she continued her avid love for Bingo. Mrs. Zingaro was preceded in death by her husband, Angelo D. Zingaro, sons, Paul and Nicholas Zingaro and all of her siblings.

She is survived by: her sons, John (Jolly) Zingaro of Middleburg, FL, and Joe (Brenda); daughters, Judy (Tom) Woodyard of Dawsonville, Patty (Jack) Connolly of Winder, Mary Anne Zingaro (Frank Capps); 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and many other special family members and friends.

Visitation and Rosary (Chaplet of Divine Mercy) for family and friends will be at Town & Country Funeral Home on Normandy Blvd in Jacksonville, FL from 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral mass will be said at10 a.m. at St. Matthews Catholic Church 1773 Blanding Blvd, Jacksonville, FL. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested contributions be made to Saint Vincent de Paul, St. Matthew Catholic Church 25 Wilkins Rd. S.W. Winder, Ga. 30680 Or SVdP St. Matthew Catholic Church 1773 Blanding Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32210
