Jordan Ian Bracken-Howley, age 17, of Winder, passed away Monday, July 22, 2013.
Jordan was born on March 9, 1996 in Utica, NY. He was a very bright light in the lives of all who knew him and will be remembered for his kind heart, witty sense of humor and sly smile. He was an advanced placement student, dedicated football player, and former band member at Apalachee High School. He was involved in Cub Scouts Pack 750 where he received the Arrow of Light and was an employee at Stevi B's Pizza.
Survivors include: his mother and step father, Bonny and Robert Babiarz of Winder; father and step mother, John and Tracy Howley of AL; two brothers, Paul Klotz of NY and Rian Babiarz of Winder; maternal grandmother, Mary Jane Tinkler of NY; paternal grandfather, John D. Howley of NJ; step grandfather, Robert W. Babiarz of Lawrenceville; Kathy and Keith Jones of FL, Sherry Bracken and Sharon Putnam of NY, Randy Tinkler of NY, Cindy and Glenn McGilvray of Lawrenceville, Bill and Missy Babiarz of Buford, Suzanne and Jeff Kearse of Lawrenceville, Ed Babiarz of Lawrenceville, Michelle Griffin of Lawrenceville, Ann and Mike Poorman of NY, Jennifer and George Nemo of VA, Kevin Howley of TX, Steven Howley and Brett Santoli of NY, Aisling Howley of NJ, Beth Santarsiero of TX, Amanda and Josh Bracken, Gage Tinkler, Emily, Nick and Duncan McGilvray, Zachary, Jacob and Sarah Babiarz, Braeden Kearse, Katie and Julie Poorman, George, Justin and Quinlin Nemo, Abrielle Howley, Archer and Beatrix Santoli and Jordans's best friend, Lindsey Smith.
The family will receive friends from 12 – 2 p.m. Saturday, July 27 at Smith Funeral Home prior to the memorial service. The memorial service will be held in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home on Saturday, July 27 with pastor Spencer Breedlove officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Community and Southern Bank for Robert "Rian" Babiarz college savings fund.
