Leonard "Curly" Kuechler

Leonard "Curly" Kuechler, age 76, of Bethlehem passed away Friday, November 2, 2012 at his residence following an extended illness.

Curly collected donations for the Shriners Hospital in Barrow County for many years.

Survivors include: his wife, Mary Black Kuechler; son and daughter-in-law, Eddie and Wanda Kuechler of Douglasville; son, Joseph Shoffeitt of Dahlonega; daughter and son-in-law, Mylinda and Brian Smith of Dawsonville; brothers, Al and Eddie Kuechler; and sisters, Millie Smith, Doris Phelps Fran Dias, and Jeanne Ekdon; 4 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Sunday, November 4 from the Wages and Sons Stone Mountain Chapel with Rev. Charles Black officiating. Burial followed in the Yonah View Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the United States Airforce.

Wages and Sons Funeral Home Stone Mountain was in charge of arrangements.
