Mrs. Margaret "Peggy" Frank, age 67, of Jefferson, died Wednesday, October 2, 2013, after an extended illness.
Mrs. Frank was a native of Gadsden, AL, a daughter to the late Louis and Billie Pardue. Peggy retired as a dental hygienist upon moving to Jefferson for the raising of her children, Angela and Donald in 1987. She was a member of the Bethany United Methodist Church and was a former member of the Jefferson Pilot Club. She served as Corporate Secretary of the Banks-Jackson Food Bank for the past 20 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Buddy Pardue.
Survivors include: her husband of 47 years, Thomas R. Frank; daughter and daughter in law, Angela and Kim O'Conner; son and daughter in law, Donald and Sherri Frank; and grandson, Solan O'Conner.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 5 at 4:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Vaughn Howington and Mr. Don Moore officiating. The visitation will be held on Saturday from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. at the funeral home, prior to the service. A private burial will follow in the family lot in the Crestwood Cemetery in Gadsden, AL.
