Michael Joseph Fredette, age 64, of Bethlehem died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, January 5, 2013.
He was born on October 1, 1948 in Rutland, VT. Michael was an employee of Georgia Pacific for 32 years. He was a long time parishioner at St. Catherine of Siena in Kennesaw and more recently at St. Matthews Catholic in Winder. After an eight-year relationship, Carol Ann and Michael were married on May 18, 2012 and had been attending Bethlehem Baptist Church.
He is survived by: his loving wife, Carol Ann; his mother, Mrs. Marian Fredette of Rutland, VT; his brothers, Mr. Billy Fredette, Mr. Bobby Fredette and Mr. Gary Fredette, all of Rutland, VT; and his sister, Mrs. Susie Heidelmark of Earlgon, NY;
Smith Memory Chapel handled the cremation arrangements. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 12 at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church with Pastor Jason Britt officiating. His ashes will be flown to Rutland, VT for a mass in April at his boyhood school and parish, Christ The King Catholic Church.
He will be sorely missed by all his family and friends who loved him so dearly. His kindness, thoughtfulness and the way he never complained though in pain will be remembered by those fortunate enough to have known Michael Joseph Fredettte.
