Paul C. Bentley, age 83, of Dacula passed away on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at The Andrew T. Parker Division of Embracing Hospice in Snellville.
Mr. Bentley served in the U.S. Navy
and was a veteran of the Korean War
. After 39 years of service at Delta Airlines, Mr. Bentley retired as an inspector in the quality control department. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, W.A. and Eunice Wood Bentley; brothers, W.B. Bentley, Grady Bentley, and Ernest Bentley.
Survivors include: his wife of 60 years, Evelyn Frances Fuller Bentley of Dacula; daughter, Paula Bentley Moore of San Diego, CA; sons, Philip Bentley of Gulf Breeze, FL, Joel Bentley of Dacula Timothy Bentley of Dacula; grandchildren, Daniel Keith Bentley of Dacula, Kelli Nicole Bentley of Yoan, Guam, Melissa Rose Bentley of Buford, Joshua Michael Bentley of Gulf Breeze, FL, Kaitlyn Ruth Bentley of Troy, AL, Jonathan Andrew Bentley of Harrisburg, SD; and sister, Dorothy Harmon of Dallas.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 5 at the Memory Chapel of Smith Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, January 4 from 6 – 9 p.m.
