Glenn E. Porter, age 81, of Winder, formally of Logan OH, passed away June 26th at St. Mary's Hospice in Georgia, surrounded by his loving family.
Glenn was born in Henderson KY, the son of Roy Porter and Ordie Porter. He worked for a number of years with Dowell, and drove trucks for Heartland trucking company.
He is survived by: his loving wife of 43 years, Evelyn Dickerson Porter; and his three sons, Keith Porter (Karen) of West VA, Glen Porter (Dee) of Gadsden, AL, and Troy Porter (Laura)of Winder; a daughter, Debbie Ramsey (Scott) of Altoona WI; and grandchildren, cousins, friends, and his pet, Hope.
Neptune Cremation Society of Atlanta GA is assisting the family.
