Mr. Jerry Doyle Landress, Sr. age 65, of Winder died Saturday, December 8, 2012.
Mr. Landress was born in Dekalb County on August 10, 1947, a son of the late Glenn Jackson and Thearussa Berleen Sexton Landress. He was retired from the construction industry with many years of service and was a member of New Life Worship Center in Statham.
Survivors include: his daughters, Andreana Charlene Landress of Maysville, Haley Marie Landress of Winder, Tara Rose Landress of Winder; sons, Jerry Landress, Jr. of Winder, Michael Landress of Winder, Eric Landress of Maysville, Zachary Landress of Winder; sisters, Ann Pendley of Tucker, Jean Evans of Maysville; brother, Jack Landress, of Tucker; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be Wednesday December 12 at 11 a.m. at Evans Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Leon Pass officiating. Interment will be at Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain on Wednesday December 12, 2012 at 2:00. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 11 at Evans Funeral Home from 6:00 –9:00 P.M.
