Mrs. Mozelle Witherington Jolley, 83, of Chester, passed away Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009 at Walton Regional Medical Center in Monroe.

Mrs. Jolley was a lifelong resident of Chester where she was a homemaker and attended Chester United Methodist Church where she played the piano for many years.
Mrs. Jolley was predeceased by her husband, Jack Jolley; father and mother, George Albert and Lillie Witherington; and sister, Clarice Braswell.
Survivors are daughters and sons-in-law, Patricia and Jac Greenlee of Kennesaw and Lynn and Ronnie McCranie of Winder; sisters, Mary Turner of Sandy Springs and Shirley Witherington of Chester; grandchildren, Megan McCranie Lobby of Atlanta and B.J. McCranie of Macon; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Sunday, Oct. 18, at 2 p.m. at the Chester United Methodist Church with the Revs. Wayne McDaniel and Tommy Roe officiating. Interment will follow in Dublin Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Saturday from 5-7 p.m. at Adams Funeral Home. The body will remain at the funeral home until Sunday at noon at which time it will be taken to the church.
Adams Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
