Mr. Stacy Lee Jenkins, 34, of Maysville, died Thursday March 28, 2013.
Mr. Jenkins was born in Savannah, a son of Jack Jenkins Sr. and Judy Thigpen Jenkins. He was the Water Services Manager with the Jackson County Water Authority for several years and was a member of Grove Level Baptist Church in Maysville. Stacy loved the Lord and loved his family. He was an outdoorsman and loved boating camping and all of God's Creation. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lamar and Ruby Murray, maternal grandfather, Rudolph Thigpen and niece Ellie Brooke Jenkins.
In addition to his parents, survivors include: his wife, Martha Hope Jenkins; children, Maddie and Wyatt Jenkins; sisters, Mandi Jenkins, and Tammie English; brother and sister in law, Jack and Amy Jenkins; maternal grandmother, Betty Jo Thigpen; and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 30 at 4 p.m. at Grove Level Baptist Church in Maysville with Rev. Jeff Appling and Rev. John Wood officiating. The family will receive friends at Grove Level Baptist Church on Saturday March 30 from 1 – 4 p.m.
Funeral services will also be at Rincon Baptist Temple in Rincon, on Monday April 1, at 4 p.m. with Rev. Thomas Terry, Rev. Joe Springer and Rev. Buddy Thigpen officiating. The family will receive friends in Rincon on Monday at the Rincon Baptist Temple from 2:00 until 4:00. Interment will follow at Effingham Memorial Gardens.
