Sue Hightower Wooten of Hoschton, went home to be with the Lord and her Savior on Saturday, July 6, 2013.

She was born in Clayton, AL on December 21, 1932 to Arnold L. "Jack" Hightower and Alma Neal Bush Hightower.
She is survived by: a loving husband of fifty-eight years, Robert G. Wooten; three children, Karen Copeland (Ben) of Marietta, Dan Wooten (Linda) of LaGrange, and Janet Poe (Oran) of Hoschton; and five grandchildren, Angela Copeland of Atlanta, Stedman Poe of Augusta, Katie Poe of Athens, Caroline Poe of Hoschton, and Beth Wooten of LaGrange. She is also survived by: five sisters and one brother, Earline Pate (Marvin) of Conyers, Sid Council Hightower (Jean) of Sunbury, OH, Zelda Sykes (Bill) of Marietta, Peggy Barnette (Don) of Douglasville, Sandra Kay Sufficool of San Diego, CA, and Jacalyn Hightower of Atlanta; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The family is especially grateful for the care and love given to her by Martha Young, who was always so kind and compassionate.
Graveside service will be held at Harless Cemetery, 1131 Highway 24, Montevallo, AL 35115 on Tuesday, July 9 at 1 p.m. C.S.T.; and a memorial service will be held at Cornerstone Bible Church, 869 Cole Drive, Lilburn, GA 30047 on Sunday, July 14 at 3 p.m. E.S.T. Dr. P. Douglas McIntosh and Rev. Dan Wooten will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that contributions be made to Cornerstone Bible Church Building Fund in memory of Sue Wooten.
