Tiffany Haley Williams, age 29, of Flowery Branch died Friday, November 16, 2012 at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta after a 9 year battle with cancer.
Tiffany was born in Greenville, KY on February 26, 1983, a daughter to Tommy & Peggy Haley of Gainesville and she graduated from Johnson High School in Oakwood. During her short adult life she championed the Relays for Life, and Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Light the Night causes, and garnered accolades from friends and loved ones who considered her their hero in the fight against cancer. Tiffany was preceded in death by her grandfathers Doug Garrett and George Haley, and grandmother Jenny Pursley.
Survivors include: her husband, Bryan Martin Williams of Flowery Branch; son, Austin Troy Williams of Jefferson; parents, Tommy & Peggy Haley of Gainesville; mother in law, Charlotte (Chris) Beaty of Flowery Branch; father in law, J. Stephen Williams of Lilburn; grandmother, Sue Garrett; uncle and aunt, Steve & Belinda Staples; cousin, Stuart Staples, Phyllis Harris and Family all of Drakesboro, KY; Lisa Rogers and Family, Lewisburg, KY and Deborah Daughtery and Family of Central City, KY.
The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, November 18 at 2pm in the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Stewart officiating. The burial will follow in the Evans Memory Gardens with Josh Williams, James Williams, Stuart Staples, Steve Staples, Brian Phillips, and Wayne Smith honored as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Sunday, Nov. 18 from 1-2pm at the funeral home, prior to the service.
