Ruby L. Walls, 93, of Bethlehem passed away Sunday, November 18, 2012.

She was born in Forsyth County to the late Arlie and Viv Bennett. She was retired from Carwood Manufacturing Co. and a member of Bethlehem First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcell Walls.
Survivors include: her daughter, Ida Walls of Bethlehem; brother, Marvin (Linda) Bennett of Marble Hill; niece, Martha (Lanier) Faucett of Gainesville; five nephews, Carroll (Judy) Walls of Dawsonville, Gary (Sue) Walls of Lawrenceville, Ricky (Stephanie) Bennett of Ball Ground, Todd (Kim) Bennett of Dawsonville and Tim (Kendy) Bennett of Dawsonville. She is also survived by several close friends, Alvor Parten and Melinda Thomas of Bethlehem who were like family to her. They were with her during her long illness from day one to the end. Other close friends include, Matt (Sharon) Thomas and Brandon (Brittany) Thomas of Bethlehem, Sara Griffeth, Frances Norris, and Charlene Teal all of Winder, Henry (Carolyn) Miller of Bethlehem, Mack (Linda) Clack of Winder and Jennie Clack of Winder.
A visitation was held at Smith Funeral Home from 5 – 8 p.m. on Monday, November 19. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, November 20 with Rev. Mike Peavy officiating. Interment will follow at Barrow Memorial Gardens.
