Alma LaDora Crawford Jones, 94, died May 1, 2010 at Memorial Pembroke Hospital.

She was born in Ripley, Miss., the daughter of Marion Crawford and Maybelle Smith. Her home was Chalybeate, Miss. after her mother remarried to Grover Hudson.
She had one brother, Dewey Crawford; stepbrother, Cecil Hudson; and a stepsister, Lonette, whom have all predeceased her. Her first husband, Carl E. Burns, in Mobile, Ala., where she resided for 37 years, also preceded her in death.
She is also survived by daughter, "Billie" Price, of Davie, Fla.; grandson, Stanley Fritzson; grand daughter-in-law, Andrea Fritzson; nephews, Marion Ray and Jerry Crawford; five great grandsons, and three great-great grandchildren. She lived with her daughter in Davie, Fla. for the last 17 years.
A second marriage to Clifford Jones of Bastrop, who is deceased, leaves stepchildren, Zack, Randy, Catherine, Marty, Pat, Rodney, Linda, Scotty, and numerous step-grandchildren. LaDora was a former member of many Baptist churches, Plantation Community Church, former member of the Avion Travel Club, and NARFE.
Services will held at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home in Plantation, Fla. and officiated by the Rev. "Chip" Plank. Interment be in Forest Lawn South, Davie, Fla.
