Funeral services for Mr. Billy Hall of Bastrop will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the Bonita Road Baptist Church with Brother Joey Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow at the Bonita Road Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, October 6, 2014 at Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop.
Billy Glenn Hall was born August 29, 1952 in Bastrop to Barney Lee Hall and Charlene Gregory Hall. Billy passed away, surrounded by his family, at his home in Bastrop. Billy began working in 1967 with the Local 798 Pipeliners. He also worked for International Paper Company, Bastrop Mill and construction projects around the country. For the last 27 years he has been employed as a general mechanic with Graphic Packaging in West Monroe. Mr. Hall is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy McDonald Hall, who passed away March 31, 2014; his father, Barney Lee Hall; and a niece, Chasity Nicole Adkins.
Billy is survived by his two sons, Randy Hall and his wife, Amanda, and Scott Hall all of Bastrop; his granddaughter, Makenzie Hall of Bastrop; his mother, Charlene Hall of Bastrop; and a sister, Janet Bancroft and her husband, James of Bastrop.
He is also survived by a large extended family and many friends.
Serving as pallbearers are Rooster Hamby, T.Don Frelich, Danny Diel Jr., Eric Green, Jimmy Dale Young and Bo Deblieux.
Honorary pallbearers are Venoy Kinnaird, James Bancroft, Donnie Goleman, Roy Riels, Mike Tubbs and Howard Townsend.
