Funeral services for Mr. Claude Mann of Bastrop will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015 at the Harmony Baptist Church. Bro Allen Eppinette and Bro Andy Myrick will officiate the services. Interment will be at the Tillou Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop.
Claude Mann was born April 28, 1928 at Downsville to the late Albert Tandy Mann and Lela Bell Acree Mann. He passed away, surrounded by his family and loved ones, at his home in Bastrop on Feb. 19, 2015. He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Randell Mann.
Mr. Claude was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and the Morehouse Fox Hunter's Association. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and running his dogs. His family was his pride and joy. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Claude Mann was a friend to many and loved by all.
Mr. Mann is survived by his wife of 66 years, Georgia Mann; his two daughters, Lanie Rawls and her husband, Albert, Sandra Talley and her husband, Curtis; and his son, Dewey Sharbono. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Penny Howie and her husband, Ritchie, Darron Hartley and his wife, Becky, Missy Hannah, Dwayne Hartley and his wife, Tammy, Randee Mann and his wife, Stacy, Heath Mann, Zachary Mann, Tiphini Montgomery and her husband, Shane, Shane Winfrey, Brandi Sharbono, Charles Sharbono, and Daniel Sharbono; 30 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Shane Winfrey, Dwayne Hartley, Darron Hartley, Randee Mann, Heath Mann, Chris Howie, Jeffery Howie, Gage Jones, Zachary Hartley, Holden Coleman, Landon Hall, Devin Hartley and Christian Hannah.
The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m., Friday, Feb. 20, 2015 at the Harmony Baptist Church.
