Funeral Services for Don Haynes, 70, of West Monroe, La., will be held on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 10 a.m. in Ouachita Baptist Church in West Monroe with Rev. Eddie Shoemaker and Pastor Dennis Hensley officiating. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 8, 2012, at 2 p.m., at Hamburg Cemetery.

Don Haynes was born on January 15, 1942 in Crossett, Ark., and passed away on June 5, 2012. He was a kind hearted man who when he saw a need tried to fill it. He loved doing things for others and helping others. In his younger days, he was an avid fisherman and camper. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie H. Haynes and Ozelle Haynes; and his sister, Jane Haynes.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Donna Haynes; mother-in-law, Anita Reed; brothers-in-law, Monroe Reed and David Reed; sister-in-law, Mary Capps; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Michael Capps, Kevin Reed, Monroe Reed, David Reed, Scott Goldstein, and Thom Hoeflinger. Honorary Pallbearers Tom Vickery, Nicky Smith, and H.A. Wilson.

Visitation will be held from 5 p.m.to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2012.

Memorials may be made to Peniel Baptist Church and Ouachita Baptist Church.
