Funeral services for Larry "Pee Wee" Linzay will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Chapel of Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop with Bro. Phillip McCready and Bro. Britt Dupree officiating. Committal services with military honors and burial will follow at the Causey Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 7th, beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cox Funeral Home of Bastrop.

Larry Mitchell Linzay was born March 25, 1953 at Bastrop, Louisiana to the late Larche Linzay and Betty Johnston Linzay. He passed away peacefully at his home in Bastrop on September 3, 2018. Larry was a veteran of the Louisiana Army National Guard and a retired longtime Brick Mason. He enjoyed being in the outdoors especially if it involved bass fishing. Larry held a strong work ethic and he was a mentor to many young men.

Larry is survived by his wife, Vickie Boyte Linzay of Bastrop; his two children, Kristi Martin and her husband Casey of West Monroe, Louisiana and Jason Linzay and his wife Susan of Calhoun, Louisiana; a step-daughter, Amy Boyte of Bastrop; step-son, Benjy Boyte of Kuwait; eight grandchildren, Cam Martin, Zac Richardson, Blake Linzay, Katelyn Linzay, Ajah Boyte, Kiona Craft, Scarlet Boyte, and Kira Boyte. He is also survived by a brother, Michael Linzay of Haile, Louisiana; a sister, Brenda Bennett of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and many friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Jinks, Andrew Quirk, David Ingram, Mark Ingram, Micah Ingram, and Payton Hollis.
