Lynn Annabel Michaud Haynes, 62, died at her home on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 after a valiant battle against cancer. In addition to being a volunteer for multiple agencies including the Junior League, Madonna Circle, MIFA, Race for the Cure, St. Vincent de Paul Society and St. Jude Patient Library, she was proud to serve children as a librarian and teacher at several area schools including Grace St. Luke's, St. Dominic and St. Agnes, Hutchison and most recently at St. George's Episcopal School where she was instrumental in the development of the library at the Collierville Campus. She was the proud recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship for a four week study abroad program in China in 2004 and of the St. George's Medal in 2005 for her commitment to the school. She enjoyed quilting, needlework, and compiling the family history, photographs, and recipes.

She is survived by her husband, Fulton M. Haynes, as well as her daughter, a son, three grandchildren and a large extended family, all of whom will continue to live strong in celebration of her life.

Visitation was held from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, August 6, 2010 at St. Francis of Assissi Catholic Church in Cordova, Tenn. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 7, 2010 at St. Francis of Assissi Catholic Church under the direction of Canale Funeral Directors of Memphis, Tenn. Graveside services and interment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Bastrop at 10 a.m. Monday, August 9, 2010 under the direction of Cox Funeral Home, Bastrop. Immediately following the graveside service, the family will receive friends at Christ Episcopal Church of Bastrop.
