Funeral services for Martha Nadine Purvis, 68, of Crossett, Ark. will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 18,2010 at Cloverdale Assembly of God Church with President Frank Dye officiating. Interment will follow at Pinewood Memorial Park under the direction of Jones Funeral Home of Crossett, Ark. (www.jonesservice.com). Visitation will be held from 5 - 9 p.m., Wednesday at Cloverdale Assembly of God.

Mrs. Purvis passed away on February 15, 2010 at the Ashley County Medical Center. She was born on April 28, 1941 in Ashley County, Ark. to her parents, Roy Woodrow and Myrtle Inez Brown Jackson. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Purvis; one sister, Narcil Jackson and one brother, Wilbert Jackson.
Survivors include one son, Glenn Purvis (Vanessa) of Conway, Ark.; three brothers, William Jackson of Crossett, Ark., Willie Lee Jackson of Warren, Ark. and Eugene Jackson of Andalusia, Ala.; four sisters, Pauline White of Crossett, Ark., Faye Stevens of Beekman, Ruth Curran of Crossett, Ark. and Geneva McQuillan of Beekman; three grandchildren, Brittney Harris of Hamburg, Ark., Chelsea Purvis of Crossett, Ark. and Kristyn Purvis of Hamburg, Ark.; three step-grandchildren, Dakota, Alexis and Eric Farnham.
