Mary Victoria Eubanks, 89, of Bastrop, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, February 21,2009. She was a loving wife and mother and a God-fearing prayer warrior. She was born September 6, 1919, in Taylorsville, Miss., the daughter of the late Jonathan Cromwell Ainsworth and Ethel Hester Ainsworth.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, Thomas Perry Eubanks, two sons, Brooks Eubanks and Wayne Eubanks; grandsons, Alfred Eubanks, Randy Eubanks, Cody Eubanks and Hollis Eubanks; three brothers, August, Herman and John Ainsworth, and three sisters, Elsie Walley, Annie Humphrey and Lou Ethel Grubbs.
She is survived by three sons, Gerald Eubanks and wife, Ranelle of Rison, Tommy Eubanks and wife, Lona, of Dayton, Texas and Tim Eubanks of Kilbourne; a daughter, Rebecca Lambert and husband, Will E. of Bastrop; two daughters-in-law, Ellen Eubanks of Dayton, Texas and Mary Eubanks of Kilbourne; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held 4 p.m. Sunday, February 22 at Victory Tabernacle in Bastrop.
Funeral services were held at1 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2009, at Victory Tabernacle with the Rev. Kevin Sanders, the Rev. Will E. Lambert and the Rev. Terry Winkler, M.D. Burial will follow at Kilbourne Cemetery under the direction of Bishop Funeral Home of Lake Village.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
