Myrtle Bernice Davis Coulter, 86, passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010 in Monroe.
A native of Tennessee, Bernice had lived in Sulphur since 1947. She was a member of Church of Christ of Maplewood . Bernice was employed with World Book Encyclopedia in sales a number of years. 
She was preceded in death by three brothers Lloyd Davis, Roland Davis and Glen Davis, all of Florida, and one son, Gerald Lynn Coulter of Sulphur.
She is survived by her husband Elmer Newton Coulter; daughters, Elnice Davis (Karl) of Bastrop and Rilla Kathleen Van Ness of Shreveport and Ila Berry (Doug) of Sulphur ; son Walter Floyd Coulter of Fairbanks, Ak.; 12 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 am, Saturday, September 11, 2010 in Hixson Sulphur Memorial Funeral Home.  Brother Brian Spicer will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be in the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, September 10, 2010 and beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday.
