Funeral services for Norma Jean Courtney, 80, of Bastrop will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2011 at the United Pentecostal Church of Bastrop with the Rev. A.J. Fulton and the Rev. Dwight Fulton officiating. Interment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, December 15 at Cox Funeral Home.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Courtney; parents, Ernest and Pearl Renfro; three brothers, Herman, Jimmy, and Buddy Renfro; sister, Gay Mathis.
Norma is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Janie Courtney of Bastrop; daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte and Gary Fry of DeSoto, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Joel McGough of Hallsville, Texas; son, Donald Courtney of Bastrop; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Phillip Williams of Bastrop; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; brother and sister-in-law, John and Frances Renfro of Texarkana, Texas; brother, Paul Renfro of Bossier City; sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Noah Bates of Wilton, Ark.; sister, Doris Brown of Wilton, Ark.
Pallbearers will be members of United Pentecostal Church.
