Albert Ryan Obituary
Albert W. Ryan, 83, of West Boylston passed away Saturday, September 8th at home.
His wife of 41 years, Jane (Lehr) Ryan died in 1995. He leaves two daughters, Joy Bounville of Worcester and Janeen Rice of Mansfield; four grandchildren, Mark Rice, Ian Rice, Nicholas Bounville and Laura Bounville; four great grandchildren, Tyler Tryba, Hunter Rice, Logan Rice and Sophia Rice; three sisters, Joyce Goguen, Beverly Denis and Kathleen Moore and nieces and nephews. A sister, Jean Pasquale, predeceased him. He was born in Shoreham, Vermont, son of Russell Ryan and Hazel (Garvey) Burgey . He was a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean War.
Albert was a machinist for Heald Machine Company, retiring in 1989. His true passion was flying planes at the Sterling Airport. He became a licensed pilot in 1966 and a certified ground instructor in 1969.
Visiting Hours will be held Friday, September 14 from 4 to 7PM with a Prayer Service at 6:30PM in FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 West Boylston St. A private burial will take place in Shoreham, Vermont. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701
