Angela Farmer Obituary
FARMER, Ms. Angela M.-age 47, of Flint, passed away Monday, July 29, 2019 at HHCC Briarwood. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Friday, August 9, 2019 with a 10:30am family hour at House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church, 1851 W. Carpenter Rd., Flint, MI. Pastor Kenneth Stewart officiating. Calling hours are 1:00pm-7:00pm Thursday, August 8, 2019 at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel, 3021 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, MI 48507. The final resting place for Ms. Farmer will be Gracelawn Cemetery, Flint, MI.
Ms. Angela Michelle Farmer was born November 23, 1971 in Brinkley, Arkansas, the daughter of Charles and Dorothy Dillard. She later attended Partee Elementary, Brinkely Middle School and Brinkely High School, where she ran track and played basketball. She later moved to Flint, MI. where she attended Kennedy Center. She was a member of House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church where she served in the youth department and choir. Angela loved family gatherings, watching sports and listening to music.
Ms. Angela Farmer leaves to cherish her memory: son, Antonio Berry of Flint; grandaughter, Anylah Berry; grandson on the way, Diego Berry; father, Charles Edward Dillard; mother, Dorothy Mae Dillard; brothers, Dennis (Julie) Cup of Little Rock, AR, Derrick Farmer, Deandre Dillard both of Flint and Kelly Dillard of Chicago, IL; sisters, Shelia (Adell) Sullivan, Uniece Callahan, Sharen "Shawn" Dillard, Sharonda Dillard all of Flint and Lynne Gaylor of Davison, MI; sister/cousin, Tiffani Jones of Little Rock, AR; God-brother, Donnie Eubanks of Taylor, MI; nephews, Demarco, Jaquan, Demonta, Kiton, Lazerick and Cameron; nieces, Keosha, Carise, Keyonna, Tatiana, Tamia and Dymond; uncles, Larry (Cheryl) Farmer of Flint, MI, Archie Farmer, Michael Farmer and Gilbert Farmer of Little Rock, AR, Sam Dillard, William Dillard and Ronnie Dillard all of Brinkely, AR; aunts, Carloyn Weaver, Patricia McGehee, Willie (Ernest) Owens, all of Flint, MI, Effie (Lonzo) Childress, Gloria (Larry) McKinney both of Little Rock, AR, Irene Dillard of Brinkely, AR. and Deborah Smith of Jackson, TN ; companion, John Fields; a host of cousin, other relatives and friends including special friends, Tracy Long, Tina Wilkins, Christina Cobb and Renee Byrd.
Angela was preceded in death by: brother, Darnell Aldridge; grandparents, John Ed (Arlena) Farmer, Mittie Dillard and Sam Dillard Sr.; uncles Lonnie Farmer and Donie Dillard; aunts Marnette Beasley and Rosie Tyson.
The family would like to express special thanks to: Hurley Medical Center 4th floor ICU staff, Heartland Hospice care-Briarwood, House of Prayer Missionary Baptist Church family and Gregory Blacknall.
