Barbara Dube Obituary
Barbara was born in Derby on May 11, 1943, daughter of the late Anthony F. and Josephine Dobrosky Piampiano. A resident of Ansonia for most of her life, she was employed as a claims manager at S.N.E.T. in New Haven for over 25 years until her retirement in 2000. Following her retirement, one of Barbara's greatest joys was spending time with her cherished granddaughters.
She is survived by a son, Thomas A. Dube and his wife Sandy of Cheshire, two brothers, Richard A. Piampiano of Ashland, Oregon and John S. Piampiano and his wife Candy of Derby, two granddaughters, Natalie and Vanessa Dube, and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours for Barbara will be held on Wednesday January 16, 2013, from 5-7 pm in the chapel of the SPINELLI-RICCIUTI FUNERAL HOME, 62 Beaver Street in Ansonia. On Thursday, friends and relatives are invited to attend her funeral at 10:00 am (MEET DIRECTLY) at Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Mt. My deepest sympathies to you Tommy & family, Sandy P & John P. (Aunt) Barb was a great lady and a joy to bump into every now and then. I know she loved her family very much. May you carry her in your heart and know that she is always with you. She has reunited with her parents, friends and family that have gone before her and is watching over us all. God Bless Barb.

I had the privilege of getting to know, working with, and going to the casino with Barb. What a wonderful lady she was.I feel like I know Vanessa and Natalie as she adored them and spoke of them all time! I`m so sorry for the family`s loss. God bless you in this difficult time.
